The story of this site is that which cannot in good conscience be claimed to be a unique one. For its origins extend to a period beyond prehistory ... A time as prodigious and primal as the very soup from which all life was birthed. It was here, amongst this primordial chaos of free floating carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen atoms to which the first single cell was infused with the very cohesive of life - Spite. This of course would set the stage for the fiesta of life which was to inevitably follow. Fish would emerge from the murky swamps they had only known, apes would descend from amongst their green havens, and not before long there would be the first human beings on the scene stepping foot onto another planet. So how were these epic bounds transversed? Was it because of every organisms innate desire toward personal fulfillment and the betterment of their species? Was it because of every organisms fundamental belief that they have the potential to be so much more than the sum or their respective parts? Or perhaps it was the yearning to do something that had never been done ... Go places that no other being had ever seen? Don't be silly, clearly it was out of spite. Throughout this course of evolution, spite has remained tethered into the very fibre of our souls like a fat kid on a donut. That fish which sprouted legs and took its first step upon to the land was simply spiting his insolent little legless cousins. That first ape which descended from the treetops and began his bipedal and upright march of triumph was of course spiting his pea brained compatriots. And clearly, the only reason the Americans went to the moon was out of loathing and spite for the Russians. As seen, spite is as eternal as time itself. It has been and forever will be entwined within our very essence. It is for this reason the concept of this site has been conceived, to pay homage and testimony to the cohesive of life - SPITE.
